Ella Burge
Development Associate
Ella is an Atlanta native, having grown up in and around Decatur’s vibrant food and beer scene. She’s made her rounds through Georgia’s craft beer industry as a server, bartender, host, barback, and everything in between. It was there that her admiration and appreciation of her service industry coworkers was cemented.
Meanwhile, Ella was pursuing her Bachelor’s in Marketing and Master’s in Nonprofit Management and Leadership at the University of Georgia. Throughout her studies, she found herself looking for a meaningful opportunity to meld her skills and love of food service. After spending time working in marketing, communications, and corporate social responsibility, Ella joined Giving Kitchen where she found her niche!
Away from work, Ella is an avid baker, enthusiastic concert-goer, ardent traveler, budding cook, and aspiring bookworm. She holds UGA’s Entrepreneurship Certificate and the title of Cicerone® Certified Beer Server.
