Giving Kitchen is partnering with The Community Free Clinic in Concord, NC, to provide one day of free medical appointments for food service workers residing in Cabarrus County, NC.
Services Offered
The clinic is offering comprehensive medical visits with a primary care provider, with lab work as needed. Behavioral Health and lifestyle medicine screenings will also be available.
Lifestyle Medicine is the use of evidence-based therapeutic approaches to prevent, treat and reverse chronic diseases like diabetes, hypertension, and obesity. It focuses on six areas to improve health:
healthy eating
physical activity
stress
healthy relationships
sleep
tobacco

To schedule an appointment, call The Community Free Clinic at (704) 782-0650 and inform the clinic you are calling to schedule an appointment for the Pop-Up Doc event February 26th.
No insurance is necessary, and all listed services will be provided free of cost to food service workers who make an appointment for Pop-Up Doc. We expect all appointments to be filled; call as soon as possible to secure your appointment!
