What is Team Hidi
Team Hidi started when Atlanta chef Ryan Hidinger, fondly known as “Hidi,” was diagnosed with late-stage cancer in December 2012. The community response to Ryan’s diagnosis was a heroic outpouring of love and financial support, and this overwhelming response set the intent, beliefs, and values for Giving Kitchen. Hidi’s legacy lives through Giving Kitchen and our mission to provide stability to food service workers. Team Hidi is our biggest and most-anticipated event every year.
